The American Rescue Plan and you. And more importantly... How it affects your insurance.

Maybe you have heard of the recent Covid19 Relief legislation signed into law this march, maybe you haven’t. But the biggest thing you should know... is just how many people it effects… and newsflash? It is A LOT!!

What is it?
In Short, “the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) extends eligibility for ACA health insurance subsidies to people buying their own health coverage on the marketplace who have incomes over 400% of the poverty level and increases the amount of financial assistance for people at lower incomes who were already eligible under the ACA. These provisions are Temporary, expiring after 2 years and will be retroactive back to January 1st, 2021.” -Kaiser Family Foundation
